The first time on stage for Kalyna did not go very well. Blocking center stage, she entered without confidence, froze as the music began, and promptly ran off stage. The next time she attempted theater, however, she was able to hide her stage fright by curling up next to the cow - she was a lamb in her pre-school nativity play, so it made sense at the time. Finally, as a patent clerk in a musical about Thomas Edison, Kalyna found her spark on stage and hasn't stopped acting since.

Moving to California in 2013 from a childhood in Virginia was a huge change for this young actor, but so far she's making it work. She counts herself lucky to be part of this great cast and looks forward to every Friday night ahead!
